While we have a special place in our hearts for all things colorful, there’s just something about an all white wedding that really lures us in. After all, nothing says wedding quite like a white gown or cake. Use white as your base, right from the start

Your engagement announcements, save the dates, and invitations are the perfect opportunity to show off your bridal style and give your guests a sneak peek as to how your wedding will look. When choosing invitations for your white wedding, we recommend keeping them mostly white with hints of blush, copper, silver, or gold. Light, muted accent colors allow you to show off your mostly white palette.

We know that most commonly, it’s the bride (and the bride only) that we see wearing white – but it’s okay to not follow this trend! If you want your groom or bridesmaids to wear white or a color close to it, then we say go for it. Colors such as ivory, taupe, and blush are pretty options and so are metallics. We love the looks of the groom and the bridesmaids in the photos above. We even pulled colors from these photos for you to see in the color palette below. Notice how they’re all very neutral and similar? We think these are the best accent color choices when sticking to a so-called white color palette.

Keep your accessories such as floral crowns and shoes white or in that same neutral color palette. Textures or designs will add more personality which is why we are particularly fond of these mixed flower crowns and these heels with a neutral colored design.

Keep your bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces simple by using bunches of one type of flower, or combine flowers together for an arrangement with texture. No dessert says wedding quite like a pretty white cake. We love how this one is simple, yet unique because of the addition of white flowers. It gives the cake personality and is effortlessly beautiful. Another popular trend at weddings is to have a candy or dessert bar. To keep with your white theme, we recommend using glass apothecary jars or glass bell jars with white coated goodies. Keep white organza bags or other white packaging on the table for your guests to pack their sweets in. A signature cocktail is also a popular wedding trend. Doesn’t the one above look delicious? Let your guests take home a favor in memory of your beautiful day.
