3 Ways To Turn a Paper Snowflake Into Winter Decor

It’s so much fun to make paper snowflakes for the holidays! We love that they’re easy to make, unique, and totally festive which is why we decided to make a few paper snowflakes of our own and turn them into holiday decor. Keep reading to see the 3 ways we decided to use our snowflakes!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Scissors
  • Paper or tissue paper
  • String
  • Glue

For our snowflakes, we decided to use silver tissue paper. All we had to do was fold the paper and cut it as instructed in the template we found. (There are so many different ways to create snowflake shapes. We found templates on how to create our snowflakes by searching “paper snowflake patterns” in Google.) Once you’ve created your snowflakes, it’s very easy to add them to your candle, saucer, and packaging!

For the candle, simply wrap your snowflake around it with some string and tie securely. Because the snowflake is paper, we suggest using this candle purely as decoration. When placing the snowflake on your saucer, simply think of it as a doily. Literally all you have to do is place the snowflake on top of the saucer! Lastly, to create your snowflake packaging, use glue to stick the snowflake onto the wrapping paper. We also tied the package with some string to finish it off. That’s it! Now you know how to make three very simple paper snowflake projects.
