This birthday boy sure knows how to make an entrance! We are in love with this extravagant Monopoly board backdrop, complete with the birthday boys name, the “Go To Party” sign, and the toy car and attire for the man of the hour.

Classic Monopoly playing pieces and icons such as the train, thimble, ship, iron, race car and Scottie dog make great decorations! Dice does too! We especially adore the dice with pictures of the birthday boy and the dice cake pops.

Collecting enough money to buy as many properties as you can is a huge part of playing Monopoly – why not incorporate some money into the party? Chocolate money that is. We love the idea of using satin sacks full of gold coins as both centerpieces and favors!

For some fun photos, keep props such as top hats and mustaches handy. Your guests will have so much fun posing like Mr. Monopoly!

For the perfect Monopoly inspired table setting, we suggest using black and white striped supplies such as this table runner, paper plates and paper cups along with place settings inspired by the property cards.

We can’t get enough of these Monopoly inspired treats! For similar looks, try turning a square cake into the Monopoly board, square cookies into separate game board properties, and using a mustache shaped mold to create chocolate mustache pops.
