We are so excited that summer (aka peak wedding season) is finally here! And this year, we are especially excited about these 5 summer wedding trends. From our favorite color palette for the season to our favorite themes and treats, we are so happy to share our favorite ideas. Take a peek at our list below and hopefully, get inspired for your summer wedding!

A Mint & Blush Color Palette

We’re a little obsessed with this trending color combo. So much in fact, that we brought one of our newest bridal shower collections – From Miss to Mrs. – to life using mint, blush, and a hint of copper (another trending color in the blush-tone family). We love that this color combo easily works for an indoor or outdoor wedding or bridal shower, whether that may be in a hotel, a garden, the beach or the mountains. The combo is simple and elegant, yet fun!

Greenery

Brides and grooms aren’t just opting for flowers anymore. Greenery has been making a lasting impression at weddings lately and we are awed at how simple and beautiful they look. They’re great for adding a touch of natural beauty – especially for a boho or desert wedding. Trust us, if you aren’t one who wants a ton of flowers at your wedding, then this is the perfect, trending alternative for you. Plus, succulents also make great wedding favors! Food & Dessert Bars

Having a food or dessert bar is such a great way to allow your guests to snack and indulge as they please. (Waiting for appetizers and meals to be served can feel like an eternity when hungry don’t you think?) Some of our favorite types of treats for the bar at your wedding include ice cream, popcorn, burgers, s’mores, and fruit. They’re such a fun way to keep bellies full and happy.

Beach Themes

When we think about what we want to experience this summer, we almost immediately envision a beautiful day on the beach. And if you’re planning a wedding on or near the beach, why not go all out with a full-on beach theme? Envision bright summer colors and beach elements such as palm trees and starfish. We love that both of our beach-inspired wedding themes – Palm Beach Chic and Anchored in Love – make us feel like we’re already digging our toes into the warm sand, and both manage to do so in their own way. Check out our lookbook for more inspirational photos featuring these two collections.

Cotton Candy

Cotton candy reminds us of a warm summer evening at the fair, carnival, or boardwalk. It’s a sweet treat that doesn’t feel too heavy to enjoy on a hot day and it brings such a pretty whimsical touch to weddings. We love that couples have been serving up cotton candy on carts, cupcakes, in champagne glasses, and favor bags. (We even bought a cotton candy machine to make our own cotton candy champagne!) If you’re a fan of this classic treat, then we can’t urge you enough to share your love of cotton candy with your wedding guests. All you have to do is decide your favorite way to serve it.
