Must-Haves for a Beauty and the Beast Wedding

With the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast (finally!) here, we are more than excited to share some of our favorite ways to make your Beauty and the Beast inspired wedding come to life. The classic movie itself has so many beautiful details to swoon over — and bringing those details to a real-life wedding is so much fun! So to help you get inspired for planning your own Beauty and the Beast wedding, we’re sharing some of our favorite ideas. Take a look and let us know your favorites!

Inspiration from Belle

When it comes to a Beauty and the Beast inspired wedding, we can’t help but immediately think of the ballroom scene. Belle in her gorgeous gown, chandeliers hanging from the ceiling… So for the bride-to-be who wants to feel like Belle on her wedding day, a dress with touches of gold is a must. (A bit of sparkle doesn’t hurt either!) Finish your look with pearl earrings, similar to the earrings that Belle debuts. And when embracing your inner Belle, don’t forget about books. You can use books as table decor, opt for our antique book favor boxes, or perhaps even get married in a library.

Thinking back to the ballroom scene, you probably remember that the Beast (aka Prince Adam) wears a blue suit — so what better attire for the groom? Brown shoes are the perfect way for him to finish off his Beast inspired look. Another major inspirational piece we have from the Beast is his enchanted mirror. Similar in style, our personalized vintage hand mirror is truly a special piece. It works great as decoration for the wedding, but also as a gift for bridesmaids — perfect for holding her favorite trinkets.

More character inspiration

There are plenty of subtle ways to give nods to other beloved characters too, such as Cogsworth, Chip, and Lumiere. Some of our favorite ideas include decorative clocks around the ceremony and reception spaces, mini teacup tealight holders along the tables, and our personalized unity candle set for use at the ceremony.

Enchanted Roses

The enchanted rose is an unforgettable icon from the movie, making red roses a must for  a Beauty and the Beast wedding. Try incorporating red roses into your bouquet, the aisle way, or in a backdrop for photos. You can also have rose petals on hand for guests to toss. Freeze-dried rose petals make a great option for this, as they will not wilt. You can even have them delivered up to two weeks before your wedding.

Fine dining accessories

Living by the words of Lumiere — “it’s fine dining we suggest!” Make the dining experience on your wedding day extra special by including gorgeous supplies such as our personalized gold toasting flutes, a personalized gold cake server set, and our personalized exclusive bridal napkins. The intricate, gold details surely resemble those of Beauty and the Beast and as a bonus, they make special keepsakes from your big day.

Treats

When it comes to treats, we can think of some great ideas for a Beauty and the Beast wedding. Personalized tea bag favors inspired by Mrs. Potts and Chip, serving “the gray stuff” (a sweet Belle got to try in the movie and has been made into a real-life dessert), and petit fours perfectly packaged in our bell jars to name a few. We also love the idea of using the petit fours and bell jars as (what we call) enchanted rose place cards — perfectly adorned with a “Be Our Guest” tag for each wedding guest.
