Turning one is fun! Well, we sure think so.

Celebrating a one-year-old’s first birthday is a big deal… like huge. Parents tend to make a big splash for their birthday boy or girl by hosting a fun celebration where attendees consist of many friends and family members.

If you’ve got a special soon to be one-year-old celebrating a birthday this winter, try giving them a “Winter Onederland” themed party. This theme celebrates baby’s momentous one year mark, as well as the season. Your guests will be transported to a fantastical wintry dream.

Achieve the perfect Winter Onederland party by sending out themed Onederland invitations. Hang up banners and signs throughout the party to reinforce the theme. Dangle twinkle lights in the party room to represent the twinkling look and feel of light bouncing off of iridescent snow.

For on theme food, serve up some wintery yumminess in the form of sparkly white iced cookies and cakes. Silvers and blues are excellent accent colors that pop while still highlighting a winter wonderland feel. If room permits, try dedicating a spot for a hot cocoa bar (learn how here). We adore this idea and your guests will too. It’s ultra-tasty and extremely on theme with any winter-centric celebration.

Like the sound of this look? Go ahead and give it a try!
