Can you believe that it’s almost graduation season? There’s so much for a graduate and his or her family to celebrate, and whether the next step is going off to college, accepting a new job, or traveling the world, we say a graduation party is in order! And to add an extra dose of fun (and pun) to the celebration, we’ve decided to share one of our favorite ideas for a graduate party favor — smart cookies! All you have to do is choose your favorite type of cookies, wrap them up, and finish with a personalized tag. Take a look at the details below.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Cookies (we used personalized party cookies in the shape of a grad cap and smiley face)
- Clear bags
- Tags
- Hole punch
- Ribbon
Once you’ve decided on what type of cookies you’d like to hand out, find clear bags to package the cookie(s) in. Be sure to choose clear bags that are large enough to fit your cookies. Next, purchase or create your own tags with the text “One Smart Cookie”. You may also want to include the graduate’s name and graduation year. Hole punch a hole at the top of the tag and string ribbon through it. Now, gather the top of your clear bag, and tie closed using the same ribbon. That’s it!
We really loved the idea of using personalized party cookies, but there are plenty of other options too. Consider chocolate covered Oreos, fortune cookies, or mini chocolate chip cookies. Whichever cookie may be the graduate’s favorite, it’s so easy to create this favor according to their personal taste.
