We are so excited for 2017 and we have so many resolutions that we want to focus on. From simple goals such as drinking more water to bigger, fun goals such as traveling more — there’s so much we’re ready to tackle. Take a look at our list of resolutions for the new year, and be sure to let us know what your resolutions are, too!
Travel More
This year, we vow to travel more. Whether that means packing our bags for a weekend getaway to our hometown or a weeklong trip to a new and faraway place, we’re ready for all the great experiences that traveling has to offer.
Stay in Touch
Keeping in touch with friends and family can seem hard when we all have such busy schedules. If unable to spend face-to-face time with our loved ones, we at least vow to keep in touch through phone calls, texting, and good old fashioned snail mail. All it takes is a few minutes a day to reach out.
Cook More
Cooking more is definitely on our resolutions list this year. Again, with long days at the office, traffic, etc., cooking is sometimes the last thing we want to do when we get home. But cooking up old favorite recipes as well as experimenting with new ones is something we actually love! Plus, it’s healthier and more frugal than eating out all the time. We just have to remember that the extra time spent cooking is well worth it.
Reuse, Reduce, Recycle
Do you find yourself storing plastic and paper bags that you plan to use again but never do? Us too. This year, we’re all planning on doing our best to cut back on waste starting with using reusable shopping bags.
Drink More Water
It’s amazing how many of us forget to stay hydrated. It’s so beneficial to your health to get enough water, so this year we vow to drink more of it. Pretty glass water bottles are a great way to keep and enjoy staying hydrated, so we’ve already started by keeping ours filled at all times.
Hit the Gym
Hitting the gym can be hard, but oh, is it worth it. Not only does exercise help you look great, it helps you feel great too — which is exactly why we vow to get back in the gym as often as we can. Cute workout clothes and a cute duffle bag are fun ways to make exercising fun, so we’re packing up our gear and hitting the gym ASAP.
Relax
While we’re ready to be more active at the gym, we are also ready to relax. So many of us are stressed out all the time and we’re ready to change that. Snuggling up in our favorite bathrobe, painting our nails, and enjoying a good book sounds perfect right about now.
Get More Sleep
Getting more sleep is also a must. Energizing and beneficial for health, getting more z’s is one resolution we are certainly looking forward to this year.
Save Money
Who doesn’t have this one on their resolution list? This year, we vow to save more money by cutting back on unnecessary purchases.
