Inspiration for a Sunny, Yellow Wedding

With the gray and stormy weather continuing, we’ve been longing for the warm and sunny days of spring. And because we’ve been feeling a bit blue, we thought, what better way to get excited for the sunny days ahead than with a dose of yellow wedding inspiration? With the sun and flowers as our main inspiration, take a look at some of our very favorite ways to incorporate yellow into your wedding. There’s nothing quite like this beautiful, happy hue!

Flowers

There are so many beautiful yellow flowers out there. From tulips to roses, sunflowers, and daisies — choose your favorite and incorporate them in everything from your bouquet to the centerpieces.

Treats

Treat your guests to the tastiest of desserts and drinks with a yellow hue. Lemon is obviously the flavor of choice, so we suggest serving up treats such as lemon flavored cake, macarons, and lemonade! You can also just opt for yellow icing or sprinkles.

Yellow is just lovely for a bridesmaid’s dress color. Opt for pale yellow, mustard yellow, or if you’re feeling bold, neon! For the bride and groom, we suggest yellow accessories such as flower crowns, bow ties, shoes, socks or vests.

From your invites to your guestbook, choose designs that feature this happy hue. Even just adding subtle hints of yellow such as some of the text in your invites will make all the difference in completing your wedding look.

Decorations

There are so many ways to decorate your wedding with yellow. Some of our favorite decorating ideas include lanterns, aisle runners, and of course flowers added to anything and everything.

Favors

Include yellow in your wedding favors by choosing items such as lemongrass soap or lemon scented sugar scrub. You can also opt for yellow packaging to pair with any favor of your choosing.
